17" vs 18"

I was discussing with my frens about the ride quality of BMW 325 Sports Package considering it was shot with 18" rims.

I need feedback whether if they are swapped for 17" rims, would there be marked improvement in ride quality? Someone told me there would not be a significant difference between 18" and 17" rims/tyres.

Thoughts?

not much difference lah... with the 18 inch rims what you can do is change to non-run flats... they will give a better ride as run flats have harder sidewalls.
