17" or 18" rim for e90 320

Hi folks,

I was thinking of upgrading my stock 16", i am pondering between a 17" or 18", i hope u can advice me the following with yr experience:-

1) Does upgrade of rims affect the fuel consumption? If so how much more?
2) Does 18" look too huge on my small ride?

1)definately affected!!for me i get about 430 and the lights come on(can get about 30 more till last mark)
2)18 ok only can even go 19 because the arch is not as small as it seems.(especially if u add on a kit)

20inch will look very good on E90

20 inch??? wow! never cross my mind lei...i think the 4 cylinder does not have the power to drag this huge rims...

you be surprised. w/o RF tyres even a 18 non-forged is still lighter than stock 16s

running 18',yes the bigger the rims the more it drinks

19" will be perfect.
