Corner shop near to the main road ? That would be Fong Kim. You spoke to the boss Ricky ?? I think he quote you a legal system....full system rite ? I think its damn blardy ex IMHO.....

I had a friend that bought just the rear remus muffler for $1650 - WRX.
But it was a 4 pipe exhaust.. ala M3 style, and DTM style tip somemore. Yes, both sides all working, and not dummy.
Go for approval, LTA also blur. In the end, take many pics, and still LL approved it coz it met all the criteria.

Extractor...mid muffler....rear muffler and the cat.
Whole system is bolt on and no need to weld anything....comes with B.C from manufactuer for LTA to certify it. (actually...the B.C cost more than the exhaust itself !!)

Sure or not? If it includes so many items.. 1650 is an absolute steal for LTA approved complete system!

Total = S$1500 (balance S$150 could be for headers and other nitty gitty)
But if your exhaust is the cat back system then for the price of S$1650 is cheap cos the catback system is S$1K liao.
Above juz my estimates and maybe there are more parts for that price.

Ok, but its a huge difference whether this whole replacement is a LTA approved Remus system (is there such thing?) or a FK branded non LTA compliant system. If its the former (possible?? I think not) then 1650 is dirt cheap. If not, then the price is... normal I guess.

When I was looking for extractor...hear the price I siam liao....cost me nearly 1K....and that is from J4C Amos....pass on this mod...cost me too much money.
One thing about Ricky FK....if its a legal one...make sure he commit to it....dun later come and tell you its legal from the muffler only...then you bang balls for paying so much.

Actually LTA requirements are simple.
1. Must be made for that exact car model.
2. TUV approved.
3. Sound level passes LTA standards
4. Installed by approved exhaust dealer
5. Warranty card intact with matching serial number (as proof)
This also means that anything like those 'universal' boxes won't be approved.
