Did a search online and found an article that seems to imply that the 2 model share "identical front and rear suspension". But not sure about the M sport though. Asked a forum sponsor and the reply was not sure not dont think will fit as the weight is different. Anyone have any idea?

You can call Eng Soon and ask them. They are dead accurate as far as parts are concerned.

Suspension design is the same as the e90 but as your vehicle weights are different, the ride height can be totally different. Take for examople the e46. int, Case in po The 318 and 320 front springs are different but the rears are the same. So for the 135, there is a shorter and tougher spring in front to lower the car and support the 6cyl engine. At the rear, the 1 series (almost hatch back) should be lighter than the e90 sedan. So again the weights are different. Thus the ride heights cannot be determined. The only way is to swap and try. Uness you can get the exact corner weight of the car.

cheers

Re: 135 M Sport suspension on E90 possible?

good to get it out here so everyone knows. Our fear is that your front will end up looking the same cos the heavier and lower spring rates will not be loaded enough by your 4cyl engine. At the rear, the lower springs for the lighter 1 series will be compressed plenty by you heavier sedan boot. So end state, you car may end up looking like its taking off.
