Anyone know if the above N54 3L & N52 2.5L share the same brake system and use the same pad?

Hi prodrive,

Logically 3L variant should have a bigger braking power set-up.....(rotol/caliper could be bigger)
give Calvin or Nic of BOSS a call, 6459 0038

Someone please enlighten me on my model. From Onemotoring it says my model is 525i XL. X is the AWD? It says got 2 axles.

Just check out realoem.
07 525i N53 LCI, P/N 34116764-540
N52 LCI, P/N -617
07 523i N53 LCI, P/N -873 (same as 07 530i N52)
N52 LCI, P/N -617 (same as above 07 525i)
09 525i N52 LCI, P/N -617

But then there are 2 different caliper size shown on the website. One is the usual small caliper and the other looks like BBK style.

XL = Xenon Lights.....(from what i know)
AWD = all wheel drive???

is your ride from PML or PI?

From PML. Can't be All-Wheel-Drive then. XL is not Xi (as taken from realoem). So XL means Xenon Light. Ok thanks.

And the 2 axles refers to the axle driving the left and right wheels.. haha.. confused by the terms.
