Re: Auto Transmission Fluid Many local enthusiasts change trans oil at 40-50k km. I believe this too - yes ZF/BMW recommend sealed for life but I would rather change oil and extend life of EX$$$ gearbox.

Re: Spark plug replacement My old E60 520/2.2 needed change only 100k km. Now the turbo engine recommended change interval is 50k km. Yes change early get best performance and consumption.

Hi all, anyone has comments on Akrapovic and BMW M exhaust? Akrapovic for E90 335 are titanium and save more than 10 kg whereas the steel Akrapovic for F30 335 would only save a couple kg. BMW M exhaust sounds interesting but not sure if it improves performance? Any idea of $$$? Regards to all.

Re: M135i front brake pad change Have you changed the brake pad yet? My experience is that most BMW brake pads will wear around 40-50k km. After replacement it can last longer for whatever reason I don't understand. The other major item is the disc itself as it can be worn quite badly... Go...

Re: My F30 issues Drove 320 very quiet and all's well. Drive 335 plenty noise - suspension since new... now just enjoying the power of the car and drive ignoring all noises with good music and enjoy the drive.

Re: What engine oil are u using for yr F30? 10W-60 for M cars only. Racing spec. BMW had recently changed over to Shell, replacing Castrol. 2L engine uses less than 5 litre. 3L engine needs 6.3 litre. I find Castrol Edge 5W-40 good enough for my N55 engines. For convenience will change to...

Re: F30 ~ viewing pleasure Yes but only on BMW 18", I did it on my F30 with original 18" rims. Was told that some aftermarket 18" can't do as internal diameter may be too small - check with the rim maker.

Re: F30 328i msport Feel smoother and better grip. Emergency brake also good. But stock brake is actually good enough.

Re: bbk kit for my f30 Finally installed M Performance brakes in gold/yellow. Looks good with the black staggered rims. Feel more confident in braking maybe it's psychological?? :)
