[Video] The ACS3 Touring of AC Schnitzer

If you want a sensible 3 Series vehicle, then the BMW M340i Touring is definitely a good choice. In fact, the M340i is still a supremely good deal even though the approaching M3 Touring is close by. The 510 horsepower and the stiff suspension of the latter are, accordingly, not comparable to the M340i’s good package. Just below 400 horsepower is already enough for the majority of people who desire to accomplish their daily routines quickly. The AC Schnitzer previously launched its M340i Touring and it was a proper replacement for the M3 Touring.

Providing that BMW won’t make an M3 wagon, the evident response to the M340i would be pure astonishment when linked to its performance. In this video, Joe Achilles introduces the the M340i along with some of its slight changes. Despite these, the ACS3 Touring is still an eye-catcher as it also shows some similarities with Achilles’ very own M2 Competition unit.

The M340i displays itself with the Hockenheim Silver paint, which was also the color of his car. What’s more is this car got all upgrades that AC Schnitzer designed for this model. The highlighted ones are the performance-enhancing and aerodynamics upgrades. Warranty is also another good thing for this Ac Schnitzer product.

Powered by a 3-litre straight-six B58 engine, the ACS3 Touring performs with 420 horsepower. It looks and performs better, thanks to its new exhaust system and its ECU tune. Just like what you see on M cars, this Touring also wears four round tailpipes. In order to keep its weight as close to the ground as possible, the suspension of the ACS3 Touring has also been upgraded. Achilles seems to have enjoyed the ride, especially that the vehicle sits nice and low. But you can find out more as you watch the video
