[SPIED] Check out BMW X5 M LCI Facelift

Bringing the G05 BMW X5 and the BMW X5 M up to date was probably a piece of cake for the BMW design team. There is no doubt that the X5 and X5 M are still stunning cars even after the arrival of newer models. A camouflaged test of the new BMW X5 M LCI facelift revealed only minor but effective changes to the car’s exterior and interior features.

Reviews reveal that the BMW X5 M LCI facelift looks good so far  with minor improvements. The grille has been made more angular to resemble its sibling, the X6 M. Its headlights are also smaller, as the new BMW iX. Similar to what BMW did with the new X3 and X4, BMW has made the rear lights larger and lower at the back of the car. They look good on the X5, just as they do on the X3 and X4.

There are also interesting changes in the interior that makes car enthusiasts curious, even if the cabin is already good.

Both power and performance remain essentially the same. The 4.4-litre twin-turbocharged V8 engine still produces 600 horsepower (617 in the Competition version) and 553 lb-ft of torque. It’s worth checking out, as this could be the final BMW X5 M powered exclusively by an inline four-cylinder engine. The next step will be either a hybrid, based on the XM’s powertrain, or a pure electric vehicle. BMW will be making many big changes soon. But right now, they give us modest changes because of its already great features.
