Revving Up Style: BMW M2 Gets Two Striking New Paint Options

When BMW unveiled the second-generation M2 in October 2022, car enthusiasts were left craving more color options for this thrilling compact rear-wheel-drive coupe. The initial selection of Alpine White, Sapphire Black, Toronto Red, Brooklyn Grey, and the exclusive Zandvoort Blue seemed lacking. Thankfully, BMW has listened to the passionate requests and introduced the first Individual shades.

The much-anticipated Frozen Pure Grey and Frozen Portimao Blue made their photo debut, generating waves of excitement. These two striking matte paints are now available for selection in the German configurator of the G87. The captivating colors are now available for the 2 Series Coupe and 3 Series Sedan as well.

The new Frozen Pure Grey and Frozen Portimao Blue for the 2 Series coupe lineup showcase BMW’s San Luis Potosi factory in Mexico. Since its establishment in 2019, this state-of-the-art facility has become adept at producing cars in Individual colors. Going forward, it will play a pivotal role in the assembly of BMW’s forthcoming electric vehicles on the Neue Klasse platform, starting in 2027.

As the M2 continues to captivate enthusiasts worldwide, adding these matte paints is just a glimpse of what lies ahead. The M2 CS, expected to arrive around 2025, is likely to receive its eye-catching paint options, but even before then, we anticipate an expanded array of finishes for the M2. Customers can already choose from a wide range of M Performance Parts to further personalize this exhilarating machine, ensuring a truly unique driving experience.
