LOOK: 2023 BMW i7 at the Budapest Opera House

In high-end automobile production, opera houses are a universal obsession. That’s not surprising, considering opera houses’ lavishness, elegance, and complexity. People who can afford six-figure luxury vehicles tend to congregate there. It has a bit of a formula, but it serves its purpose. Even more so when it’s as beautiful as the Budapest Opera House, which is as elegant as a BMW i7.

The Budapest Opera House’s interior is an impressive representation of 19th-century architecture. Marble and woodwork, a massive 3,050 kg chandelier, and a mural of Greek gods come together to form a stunning whole. The BMW i7 looks fantastically out of place. The i7’s exterior could be more appealing and understated, with its massive grille, split headlamps, and imposing size. This is also a cutting-edge system that creates a striking contrast between the present and the past.

The Tanzanite Blue II Metallic is one of the best colours for the BMW i7’s exterior. It’s metallic and bright enough to stand out and dark enough to hide any oddities in its design. It gives the i7 a real character.

For the time being, BMW exclusively offers the i7 xDrive60 version of the i7. It is powered by a pair of motors, generating 536 hp and 549 lb-ft of torque. BMW says it can go from 0 to 60 mph in 4.5 seconds, which is about right for a car of this size and comfort.
