Bloomberg reports that BMW will be selling cars online for the first time as a part of their plans to revolutionize how cars are being sold in the market. This initiative is expected to begin with the market sales of the vehicles from the new i sub-brand in 2013 and 2014. In line with this, BMW opened its first “i†showroom in London where prototypes are being displayed. However, the sale of the cars and the whole ordering process will happen online. Speculations say that the i3 will be selling for 40,000 euros ($48,500) and the i8 will cost more than 100,000 euros. Linda Croissant, a spokesperson for BMW in Munich, says that the online selling is still in the planning process.
