BMW F3 Crossover Confirmed!

BMW’s crossover MPV previously referred as the BMW V3 has been coined the BMW F3 instead. Based on a 3 Series but with a 5 seater capability, it goes up directly against the Mercedes Benz B-Class of "people mover" vehicles.

A BMW insider has quoted that "We’ve looked carefully at prevailing market trends, and there appears to be a clear shift away from old-style multi-purpose vehicles. By combining the high seating position of a sport/utility vehicle with the space afforded by a traditional station wagon, crossovers appear to be providing an clear alternative to buyers."

Looks like we have to see how this pans out with official photos.
