If you have always wanted to have a small hatchback, then 2012 will be an excellent year for you as it will be the release of the BMW 1 Series. Sources say that the 2010 BMW 1 Series will most like share quite a lot of its parts and components with the 3 Series. This may happen for two reasons: BMW needs to do this to cut their costs or they want to create a small hatchback without having to downgrade the parts. It can also be both. But whatever reason BMW might have, this is still good news as the 3 Series is definitely well equipped and well built at the same time. The same quality then can be expected from the upcoming 1 Series.
