The BMW M4 GT4, which secured 77 victories and numerous titles in 2023, is set for a significant upgrade. BMW M Motorsport revealed the EVO version at the 24 Hours of Spa-Francorchamps, promising enhanced driving experiences from 2025.
Focusing on reliability and drivability, the key updates on the EVO version include a revised front splitter for durability, an overhauled attachment concept for easier maintenance, reinforced rear axle wheel bearings, and new front flicks. A new feature lets drivers deactivate traction control via a steering wheel button, optimizing lap times based on direct customer feedback.
The EVO mirrors the GT3 category design with new front and rear headlights, incorporating the LCI update from BMW M road vehicles. Priced at 219,000 euros for the complete package and 16,000 euros for the EVO kit, the new version aims to build on the M4 GT4’s success. The BMW M4 GT4 EVO will be showcased at Spa-Francorchamps, with deliveries to customer teams starting in late 2024 to prepare for the 2025 season. These updates result from close collaboration with customer teams, ensuring the EVO meets high performance and usability standards.
Björn Lellmann emphasized customer feedback in developing the EVO, aiming to improve a successful car. Jens Klingmann highlighted the improved durability and drivability, predicting more victories and titles. Max Hesse valued his involvement in the development process, noting the importance of balancing performance with customer needs.
