The future G01 BMW X3 is doing some tests in Germany. It’s going to be a very important model, just as its predecessors. These spy photos give us a closer look.
What we can see is that the bonnet is connected to the headlights, just like with the 2nd generation. The owners will be able to choose between black and chrome-plated kidney struts.
There is a radar sensor in the front, just underneath the license plate. The sensor, along with the camera on the interior mirror, provides help by monitoring the area around the vehicle.
The X3 G01 will have a semi-autonomous driving capability. This is something we can see on the new 5 Series and 7 Series.
On the inside, we can see the infotainment display and not much else. Most of the details were carefully covered. It appears that the high-quality materials were used. This makes sense, as BMW doesn’t want to fall behind the main competitors in the mid-class SUV segment.
