The Munich plant is now ready for a new production project this Autumn. Two BMW i4 is ready for production offering electric vehicles for the BMW sport sedan range. Many car enthusiasts are into this EV nowadays. It’s good to know that at last, it will be available soon as Nicolas Peter, BMW board member, confirmed their production in Germany.
BMW is now ready to compete with Tesla Model 3. They now introduce their first-ever all-electric sport sedan for the BMW i4. Price deal is affordable even though it is an EV. This is one way to accommodate BMW clients whenever they want to try getting an electric car.
During the launch, two versions of the BMW i4 will be available. The BMW i4 40 will cost roughly $55,400. BMW i4 M50 will start at around $65,900. A single electric motor with 335 horsepower and 317 lb-ft of torque in the back, as well as an 81.5 kWh net-energy battery pack (83.9 kWh gross-energy) will power the BMW i4 40. Just like the Tesla Model 3, the i4 40’s powertrain is expected to accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in 5.7 seconds, which is hot-hatch quick and far enough for most consumers, while still delivering about 300 miles of maximum range. No wonder why there are rumours that the EV sedan will boom in the electric car market soon.
The BMW i4 M50 will provide us with dual electric motors. This will integrate 356 HP and 586 lb-ft of torque which will give it an all-wheel drive. The BMW i4 M50 has a range of about 235 miles. One factor is the extra motor and greater power, while utilizing the same battery as the i4 40. It claims to accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in 3.9 seconds, although car experts believe it can go faster than the mentioned speed.
Car enthusiasts can’t wait for the launch of both since production will start in a few months. There will be more updates soon as the two EVs are the talk of the town in the market.
