This month, BMW will be hosting the first press test drive of the new 2017 BMW 5 Series. A decked out G30 540i with a series of M Performance Parts designed for the 5 Series is expected to be seen there. Here is a first look at the 2017 BMW 540i M Performance Parts:
The Alpine White 540i shown in this video features a carbon fiber front splitter together with blacked out inserts in the air curtains. Carbon fiber skirts with the M Performance Parts logo are seen on the sides which gives the car a sportier look than the standard model.
Fitted on the 540i is a set of M Performance wheels paired with M Performance Brakes with red calipers.
In the rear, the common carbon fiber diffuser with a new design is used. There is a carbon fiber lip on top of the trunk.
The BMW 540i has a 6-cylinder 3-liter straight six engine under the hood. It delivers 335 HP and 332 lb-ft of torque. 0-60 mph is achieved in 4.9 or 4.7 seconds, depending on the kind of traction you go for. All cars come fitted with the 8-speed automatic gearbox as standard too, no matter if you choose the RWD or AWD model.
BMW launch the 540i to the market in March 2017.
