[Video] 2023 BMW XM Looks Flashy In Cape York Green

Following the introduction of the long-wheelbase X5 in China earlier this year and the world’s first electric iX1 last week, BMW has again grown its SUV lineup. No numbers are included in the name of this breakthrough innovation because it had no predecessors. Although it shares its basis with many other cars, the CLAR stands apart as a unique model with its base.

As expected, the 2023 XM arrived at BMW Welt in Munich after its world presentation a few days ago. The electric SUV is painted in Cape York Green, a new colour for the X1. It also features several gold accents. The bright colour stands out against the black kidney grille and the silver 23-inch tyres. Another similarity is the finish from the upper character line down to the belt.

After the new 7 Series and the X7 refresh, the XM is the third vehicle to feature the unconventional split headlights this year, so we’re getting used to them. The big SUV lacks a BMW emblem on the rear gate, which features a massive “XM” logo outlined in gold. An alternative is the presence of two roundels in the upper corners of the rear glass, a nod to the M1’s mid-engine layout.

The 2023 XM has been previewed in an all-black finish, which is less out there if you find the vehicle’s livery to be too much. On the other hand, you can customise the flagship M model in various colours on the German configurator right now. The XM can be adjusted to appear less lavish by eliminating the gold detailing and selecting smaller wheels. The XM Label Red will debut next year with an even more impressive list of standard equipment. It comes with a unique colour scheme, wheels, upholstery, and other interior details. The combination of the V8 and electric engine p 735 hp and 735 lb-ft of torque, significantly increasing its potential.
