Unleashing Power: The V10 BMW M3 E92 Overhaul

In the BMW M3 lineup, the E92 generation’s M3 GTS stands out with a massive 4.4-liter V8 engine, code-named “S65.” But this modded M3 goes bigger for those craving more, adopting the 5.0-liter V10 from the M5 E60. Power jumps from 500 to 570 hp without forced induction.

The upgraded engine now hits 8,700 rpm and is paired with a six-speed manual gearbox. A custom Akrapovič exhaust system amplifies the V10’s roar. Visually, the only giveaway is a large rear wing.

Subtle exterior mods include BBS FS wheels and stock brakes. Inside, the Recaro front seats replace the rear bench for weight reduction. Unseen upgrades include a carbon driveshaft, lightweight flywheel, and KW V3 Clubsport coilovers.

The highlight? Squeezing a V10 into an unprepared engine bay. The balance is maintained despite the weight, estimated at 30 to 40 kg. BMW never offered this, but deep pockets can make it happen through tuners.
