2021 BMW M3 and M4 Competition Stars in the United Kingdom

The Competition models of the latest G80 M3 and G82 M4 are formally celebrating their UK market launch. BMW will only market the M3 Competition Sedan and M4 Competition Coupe variants with a standard rear-wheel drive in the United Kingdom. Alternatively, starting summer this year, the optional M xDrive all-wheel-drive traction system will be available. As a result, in Europe, there will be no manual M3 or M4 versions.

Both variants share the same S58 3.0-litre petrol engine, which produces up to 503 hp. It sends a maximum torque of 650Nm to the rear axle wheels. It reaches a top speed that is electronically limited to 250 km/h. Prices for the new M3 Competition Sedan in the United Kingdom starts at £74,755. Consumers can expect to pay at least £76,055 for the new M4 Competition.

BMW introduces six different equipment packages for the new M3 Competition and M4 Competition in the United Kingdom. These are Comfort, Technology Plus, Visibility, M Carbon, M Pro, and Ultimate. M Brakes in red, blue or black, M carbon exterior ornaments, M Carbon seats, and Park Assistant Plus with Driver Recorder is available as options.

The first three packages are mostly familiar with non-M models and provide the necessary equipment, like heating comfort, infotainment, and lighting technology. M Carbon package includes multiple interiors and exterior parts from CFRP, including the seats, rear diffuser, bumper, and mirror caps. Moreover, the M Pro Package is available for the new BMW M3 Competition Saloon and BMW M4 Competition Coupe. It integrates the M Carbon ceramic brake with M Driver’s package for customers who want to use their new upgrades on the racetrack.

Finally, the Ultimate Package, which combines all related equipment and systems into a single offering, will be a masterpiece. The Ultimate Package includes Driving Assistant Professional, BMW Drive Recorder, and BMW Laserlight technology for the headlamps. It also includes the electrically controlled tailgate, Comfort Access, heated steering wheel, M Carbon bucket seats, and Parking Assistant Plus.
