After the BMW 2002 Hommage debut at the Concorso d’Eleganza in Villa d’Este in May, BMW has created a Turbo concept version now. The car has gone through a makeover for showing up at the Pebble Beach Concourse d’Elegance.
The new Turbomeister comes in orange and black livery and it was created in honor of the 1973 BMW 2002 Turbo, the first car in Europe with turbo technology.
According to the BMW Design Chief Karmi Habib, the car features a color scheme and livery very similar to the motorsport cars from the 1970s.
If you’re among the ones who are hoping for the actual production of the BMW 2002 Hommage cars, we have bad news – they will remain just a concept.
