Since 2019, BMW has become more involved in the music industry. BMW Belux and Tomorrowland collaborated to produce a one-of-a-kind iX1. There was a two-year hiatus due to the coronavirus epidemic, and it’s now more significant than before. In addition, Tomorrowland will increase the number of weekends from two to three.
The BMW iX1 x Steve Aoki sports a brightly coloured and unique cover designed by the two-time Grammy-nominated music producer in partnership with BMW. Visitors to “The Magical Forest of Joy” can snap pictures and movies with the iX1 while on display at the event.
There will be no rear-wheel drive versions when it goes on sale. It takes 5.7 seconds for the iX1 xDrive30 to go from 0 to 100 kilometres per hour with 313 horsepower and 494 Newton metres (364 pound-feet) of torque. Its 64.7 kWh battery pack allows 272 miles (438 kilometres) on the WLTP cycle.
Although you can’t get the iX1 in this slick colour scheme, the Frozen Individual paint treatment debuts the X1 line of vehicles. A 20-inch wheel option for the first time and a 300-horsepower M Performance model are also on the way. Operating System 8 is touchscreen-only, meaning the crossover can’t use an iDrive controller. Next-generation MINI Countryman EV will be mechanically linked to iX1. Thus those wishing for a more adventurous appearance should wait. Both products will be made in the same factory in Leipzig, which makes it more remarkable
