The BMW i8 has secured a position of the current best-selling plug-in hybrid sports car in the world. At the Auto Shanghai 2017, it was showcased as a fresh Protonic Frozen Yellow Edition.
The special edition features the Protonic Frozen Yellow exterior color (obviously), new wheels and upgraded interior design details.
These photos clearly show that the paint job is more than simply a yellow color. It has an interesting silky finish and looks quite expensive. The new wheels are from the light-alloy set from the BMW i production.
On the inside, the car has yellow stitches as a contrast to the dominant interior color.
