UPDATE 5th May 2010 - Now in order to post links, all you need is just to post the URL into the entry post. Our forum does the rest. No need to worry about BBcodes, or tags etc.

With the popularity of videos coming into our forums, we have additional additional ways to enable you to share streaming videos with us more effectively!

Whenever you start a new thread now, you will spot two new icons to allow you to post and embed eQQither YouTube or Google Video videos to our forums!

When you create a new thread, you will spot these two icons on your editor panel.

Embedding YouTube Videos
For YouTube videos, you can copy and paste the entire URL weblink into the forums, highlight the URL and click the YouTube Icon to embed the video into our forums.

An Examples of the YouTube embedding option is shown below.

Embedding Google Videos

For Google Video, the embedding options are very similar.

Any of the four formats featured below will allow you to embed the video into our forums.
The easiest is just posting the entire URL, highlighting it and clicking on the icon.

It will look something like this..

moderators - can you please check the embed youtube function and clarify whether we need to post the embed link or youtube url in between the code provided by the forum youtube button.

i have been experiencing endless problems with embedding videos which sometime appear in preview mode but not when the post is displayed in the forum.

also had a problem when i edited an old post (with a embeded youtube video) and after saving the edit the video switched from embed to a link to youtube...

Let me check in on that. We recently did an upgrade so that might have bonked a few codes.
