Multimedia add-ons for your Idrive!

There is no better place out there to install the multimedia system (it's by nicewerkz) than at Soundwerkz. These guys really baby the car (although once in a while concentration lapses), and they know their stuff. I never believe in any single workshop being able to do everything - brakes, ECU, exhoz etc etc. I'd rather leave audio/mm to the audio guys, ecu and mods to the performance guys, exhoz to the exhoz guys etc. Soundwerkz is one shop that truly dedicates itself to each project at hand.

Honestly and unfortunately, there is no other system out there better than the nicewerkz system - but there are still small lagging issues, especially with rarer/newer cars. nicewerkz should jolly well make sure that things are ironed out before they waste the installer's and customer's time by advertising that everything's a-ok. stupid issues simply because they were unprepared and did not have requisite information on hand from their oem necessitated me burning my weekend, and the poor soundwerkz engineers driving back from jb on a sunday - but this goes to show the installer's dedication.

So if you're a 3, 5 and now X, you're relatively safe. if yours is something newer, give the nicewerkz people two tight slaps, make sure they get their stuff correct, then go to soundwerkz to do the installs.

I'm still thinking if i should send nicewerkz my timesheets for time, and for using my car as a labrat. yes, i am that pissed off and still am...

Eh the new i-drive if add the reverse cam, u have to install the expensive multimedia interface right?

yeah, but you have 4 source inputs lor. 1 rear cam, 1 digital tv, still got 2 others for future upgrades.

you wanna lup front night vision cam and chee seow drivers at nite also can. (just make sure you matt black wrap and illegal tint your ride first, to get the best kpkb effect)

(1) GPS + reverse camera
(2) No GPS nor reverse camera

My ride is a 2006 E60 with aux input between the reat air con vents
