THE MYTH ABOUT SONAX'S XTREME RIM CLEANER

FAQ 1) SONAX produces OEM for car makes in the likes of BMW and Mercedes-Benz, so why is the BMW Rim Cleaner not as effective as the infamous one purely from SONAX that gives us that all-too-familiar 'bleeding effect'?
A: SONAX actually produces 2 types of rim cleaners - one that is much cheaper and diluted, to give a basic 'clean' look meant for car dealers which is temporary and not meant to last. The 'Xtreme Full Effect', blue series is the stronger and more powerful version that eradicates dirt, brake dust, stains bringing about the after-shine we all sought after as personal owners of the car.

FAQ 2) Does SONAX produce the rim cleaners in bulk quantities?
A: Yes, SONAX actually produces a 5 litre version but does not retail it as it is meant more for corporate purposes. However, BMW.SG shall be the privileged community to have this option to purchase the 5 litre version for those who wish to stock up big time on the rim cleaner.

FAQ 3) Does the Xtreme Rim Cleaner work on Chrome Rims?
A: Yes, in fact, the shine is extremely evident after application. The Rim Cleaner works on chrome, alloy, anodized, stainless steel, clear coat and polished rim types.

FAQ 4) Will the rim cleaner be just as effective for DIY users without a high pressure jet spray?
A: Yes, SONAX engineered the Xtreme Series meant for powerful effectiveness yet simple applicability. All you'll need is a source of water (even a mobile hydro pump vaporiser works!) and upon application, using the SONAX Multi Sponge which is soft and flexible to reach certain spokes and inner/undersides of the rims to ensure that the cleansing is as detailed as possible! For even more amazing results, you can engulf the sponge in the SONAX Xtreme/Gloss Shampoo (assuming you're already washing your car) and work on the rims thereafter once the rim cleaner has embarked on its deep red reactivity. The only rule of the thumb is to allow the rim cleaner to settle for at least 3-5 minutes to allow for the reaction and breaking up of residue before working on the rims.

FAQ 5) What happens if the rim cleaner comes into skin contact? The strong chemical smell emitted appears deadly!
A: Nothing will happen, because SONAX's product development philosophy stresses particularly on environmental and dermatological friendliness. The rim cleaner is PH 7 (neutral), so you will not encounter any wrinkling or sticky sensations. SONAX products are also phosphate, silicone-free and biodegradable, not that many end-users are too concerned, but it is comforting to know that you are using something gentle on human contact and contributing to saving our planet!
