FS: superb '89 E30 Cabriolet

For sale is my special diamantschwarz M-Tech II E30 cabriolet. This is a very special car that is creeping up on it's classic status. This car has been rebuilt, in stages, but there is little on the car that has not been replaced with new OEM BMW or quality performance parts, no expense was spared. Already a classic in some countries, this timeless design coupled with a light and agile body (even for a cabriolet) make this such a desireable car for driving enthusiasts. Thanks to the full E30 M3 suspension swap, the car drives as good as the legendary M3 due to having the same suspension geometry, but it makes much more power.....even more torque than an E36 M3, but doesn't quite have the same legs with the 272/272 cam.

This car will put a smile on your face every time you drive it, whether it is down to the store, on a twisty road, on the open highway, or on a track. Of course it puts alot of frowns on other folks that just don't get how this classic car can have so much grunt

My mother was nice enough to purchase this car from me last time I had it for sale, but now she no longer has any use of it. It is still titled/registered in my name though, and I have just renewed the COE for 10 more years.

Color: Diamantschwarz (diamond black) resprayed in '01 or '02
COE Expiry: 2019 just renewed this year
Records: Complete records since I bought the car and prior to me there was only one owner since new.

Hey Mock, heh ya still around but I've been in the US mostly as of late. Actually built up a 3.1L stroker 2dr E30 with Dbilas over here I balked at bringing the cab over since the US govt (DOT) wanted to charge me USD9k just to federalize it.........screw that!!!

Anyhow, I really hope it finds an enthusiast who will enjoy it for many years to come.
