Re: Disneyland in JB...M'sia Boleh or not

Cannot agree to that, bro. These are not politically-based statements. These are issues that we talked about in coffeeshops, over lunch, and over drinks. From robbery on BMW driver in JB to concerns on crimes conducted on NS highways and safety measures, these are relevant issues that we have came across in this forum. The thread posters did not serve a agenda in stirring negative sentiments, or bashing. What they did was to shed light on issues that might concerns some Singaporeans, and I thought all was done in good faith and taste, even though there might be others who would think the issue was sensationalised. The fact of the matter is that the awareness of the issues, no matter how exaggerated the issues are reported, could save lives.

In a parallel sense, though a smaller magnitude of life-and-death relevance, these talks so far have been on a rather superficial level. We can choose to sweep them under the carpet, or we could take on the issue with grace and maturity.

Of course lah, like I said sometimes we do chat about this over a cup of coffee or Chivas or Chup Chai Png.

But that is being kept within our group of people tio boh?

Whereas here everybody can read and we won't know who will appreciate or hate it. I understand of course thread starter has no inention of bashing or stirring hate. However I'm pretty sure you would have to agree that sometimes words phrased could be misterpreted in a negative way which is not intended.

I'm not trying to ask you guys to completely shut off comments and views but perhaps it would be good if we could leave out comments like what Mickey or Minnie mouse would be called in Malay or ..... ok lah you get the picture right?
