Spend $3m on a 645ci and a penthouse. Go for a week dive holiday in Polynesia. Then put the rest in a basket of instrument consisting of hedge-funds, alpha funds, and market-neutral vehicles. Sit back and open a pub. Work as a remisier to kill time.

Kenn, probably follow your investing route but I'd buy a Cayman S + SUV. I'd organize a monthly track school as part time hobby.

get a Gallardo, a black one ~ $800K Plonk the rest into investments.

In order of priorities:
1. Semi-Retire.. ....swee-est 2. Contribute directly to charity work (building house in Tsunami affected areas for eg) , not some yao jiu ling ling liu pa liu pa crap 3. Give some to family members...swee-er 4. Payoff mortgage....swee2x 5. Invest the balance thru diversification.....swee

I would buy whatever I want and need.
Say a bungalow, a M3 carb, a M5 and a F430. To simplify it. Spend eight million, keep one million and invest one million.
