going into an alley versus a public road in the city? i think the analogy not close enough la. there are nights spots along fullerton area, people are walking and cars still plying the streets. it's not like these drivers were in an empty car park practicing donuts.

maybe shooting cans along the pavement at 2am while people are still walking around. very little concern for others.

maybe you could try advising your friend not to pull that kind of shit anymore? There were people who almost got hit by those cars, no joke. Yah and way back then I openly criticized him heavily for it. There is no double standard. He gets caught for speeding, I tell him good for him and laugh. I tell reckless friends that what they just did was reckless and that I'll never get into their car again (outside of a track), and I follow through with it.
