Re: When a CNG car goes Ka-BOOM!

To be fair, a petrol driven car can explode and cause considerable damage. When cars first ran on petrol there was a huge uproar about driving "bombs" around.

Re: When a CNG car goes Ka-BOOM!

If this news is true... this is really really bad publicity for CNG users.

Re: When a CNG car goes Ka-BOOM!

Read through the discussion thread -- nice and level-headed with no flaming nonsense...

Bottomline -- it was a worst case scenario -- arson + pressure valve on CNG tank didn't vent CNG before tank failed = BIG KABOOM!!

Anyway I hope that if this gets posted in other local car forums, CNG owners here will be more mindful about pasting those green stickers prominently on front and back bumpers!! So at least in case of accidents, those in the immediate area can alert SCDF or siam far far away!!
