super big operation, starting from whitley road junction with malcom road (SJI) until dunearn road junction with goldhill ave (ACSI), the whole area, since last evening 6 p.m. till now i think still ongoing. this morning causing major traffic jam at that area.
i just stay across the road on bukit timah side. late for work today.

Re: Major police operation along bukit timah? (Not TP)

i just drove by 30 mins ago. this time round the ops is fully concentrated around SCGS. all the other areas no more personnel, but only at SCGS. there's an army guy every 5 steps, surrounding the entire school's perimeter. scores of 3 tonners are dumping army guys onto the premises as i drove past. the bus couldnt stop at the bus bay coz full of trucks. the SOF carry rifles, the unlucky army guy kena called up ones got batons only (!!!). MP, police, gurkhas, all around SCGS. as I drove onwards, i dont see any more army ppl in any other areas. Therefore it's reasonable to conclude that the guy is hiding inside SCGS as i type now. And this is worrisome, coz now lessons are on, and it'll be reasonable to expect he might grab a child when cornered. I hope the girls will all be alright if he's really in there. A neighbour i'm very fond of is studying inside there now.

wow! making certain assumptions - maybe it's because there're looking for someone in a very upmarket neighbourhood with very upmarket people in close proximity... cannot afford to let the person run into their house. if the person they're looking for got lost in toa payoh, maybe got 2 patrol cars. ha ha...

btw, can intro your neighbour's friends or not? i want to be fond of them too... ha ha... kidding...

cheers.
