Got caught stealing...(China)

YouTube - Terrible Thief Punishment in China.

My previous thread on China bike gang robbery...is really inhuman...
So have a look at this....2 guys got caught stealing/robbery...

Sometimes you feel sorry for them...but if you look at those fellows at the bike gang robbery...its seems like OK...they deserve it...All these just sad.

Re: Got caught stealing...(China)

china is that LUAN one lah. dun trust anyone when u are there, even the meimeis.
thats their newfound thirst for money after the capital reforms. anything goes as long as have money. in short this saying would be very apt...笑贫不笑娼。nobody gives a f abt where u get your money as long as u are rich. thats my personal experience with life in china.
one more thing, the gong an won't do anything even when someone died, unless a report was filed.
crap police, thats why u sometimes see ppl resorting to vigilante acts or whatever like this.

stealing isnt right...but do you know the story behind?
have you ever been forced into desperation?
whatever motivation or sob story should not be condoned...but...

whether they deserve such treatment is not for us to say...esp when we arent the aggrieved parties...

Re: Got caught stealing...(China)

If you read the comments, one of the thiefs actually died... isn't that too much for robbing/stealing from other pp?

And whatever they did, I hope anyone who views the clips will cringe with revulsion. NO human being deserves to be tortured like that.

What you guys said are true, but sometimes (did you see the other thread on Bike Gang robbery?) Agree we have no say on how to punish these ppl, but if you look at the bike gang incident, although no relation but..I can understand why the public did what they did when they caught someone stealing...

Not saying they are right or wrong, its hard, but I just hope incidents like these will NEVER happen here or anywhere else... its just so sad to know things like these have to happen.
