The exige 300rr was simply fantastic. 400hp supercharged V6. But i was drooling with the porsche GT3. This car was basically the loudest baddest car with the LEMANS engine. I took a video of a pitstop and the launch into circuit was simply mindblowing. The sound is just so shwwwwwwwwwwet.

ST Powered Evo 9, from what i heard, blew their engine in the early morning of today and had to be towed back to Singapore. Man those guys were sad. Anyway good effort by them for holding up as much as they could. And yesterday saw many accidents on the 'famous' corner because it pored heavily and visibility was very bad. The satria GTi was banged up pretty bad and so was the mirages. these guys were the craziest with last miunute braking and swerving. Didnt really follow the lines as they should.

*RESERVED FOR UPDATES*

Dude, this is last year's results.

Fyi, the above team was at 5th position when their clutch cable broke and took them 2hr+ to repair. They did not give up and start chasing from 50+ position to finish 28th at the end, impressive result from them. Most of the regular trackies here know them, they were testing their GT3 during the last BMW trackday. The 3 drivers are Ian, Weng and Ringo Chong! Congrats to them for their achievement!

This should be Eric Lim aka EP3 team right? Power! managed to finish top 10. EP3 used to be a very active member in BMWsg, this guy drive superly. If got chance, let him take u a taxi ride in Sepang.........very very smooth driver!

Cheers!

Re: Merdeka Millenium Race 2006

Any details on any of the O or A class cars, or Singaporean entires is appreciated. The results used to give some information on the cars, but not anymore.

What crew did the Mao-Weng team run? Porsche Cup crew?

About 4 years ago I spoke to Shawn (Racebred) outside Lye Designs at AMK autopoint and talked about an exige with a larger displacement engine and/or high massflow low restriction turbochargerif there wasn't enough area for a large displacement engine. Look what is winning now...
