Not yet

I demand they let me used their courtesy car as they said this type of faults takes 2 days to solve.

Apparently they are going to replace another head unit for me and they said that the reprogramming part takes 2 days.

I have lots of outstanding problem beside this problem that i need to settle with PML and i only had my car for less than a month.

I suggest you make an appointment with them and demand a courtesy car so you will not be handicapped.

Thanks Mambo for your advice. Not sure why programming take so long???

I also discovered one problem which my friend just told me. The left skirting is not flushed with the door. The right is okay. Do you have this problem??

What is the GPS map version. I was given a 3.0 version. BUt, the latest is 4.0

Not sure about the map but i did upgrade the GPS from the Garmin website

Hi Mambo,

I called PML about this problem and they wanted 2 days to solve this problem. I requested for courtesy car, but they have yet to give me an answer when I can send my car in. Do you know when you can send your car in?

They are taking their own sweet time.

So far the iDrive and Navigation system seems to work well for my car. Only problem is the map have very limited addresses. For example, I cannot get my home address. But can still work around it by storing the car's location as an address.

just download free maps from these sites & pop the bmw
outdated sd card out.
