Hi, I'm keen to know where can this be done and what's the cost?

Anyone know whether this will void the warranty?

Anyone here have solve their terrible feedback noise coming from the BMW navigation system or help me to find a solution

Thanks a lot.

Should i go down to PML and bang table. My sales person told me it is the model of my phone.

but i have tried the iphone and Nokia both bad feedback.

Try tunning a FM station to no luck.

Hi mambo, you are not alone. I also encounter a lot of feedback noise when using Bluetooth on my Garmin Nuvi 710. Still can't figure out why.

Re: BMW Portable Naviagation system

Hi there,

Same here, my FL E90 has the same lousy quality voice coming
from the speakers, I can't even answer the phone with the buttons
on the steering wheel, of adjust the volume. Are we missing some
instructions or proper connections here.

Re: BMW Portable Naviagation system

Looks like its not really a good product ? I has been thinking seriously to get it done. But PML said that it is not tested on a 1-series yet, so not sure if it can integrate fully into the car system.

Re: BMW Portable Naviagation system

The buttons on the steering wheel is not for the BMW navigation system.

You have to get this option:
BMW Bluetooth interface

Actually the Garmin mic is at the device itself, and the sound is link through our car stereo system through FM signal.

But I am unable to get a clear FM station to pair with the stereo system.

Looks like I have to go down to PML to enquire on this faulty device they are selling.

I will bring all my phones down to see what excuses they will give.

Re: BMW Portable Naviagation system

Hi Mambo,

I have the same problem here on my new E90..

There is always an interference noise before the direction is announced when using GPS. Do you have this problem?

ALso, a back ground noise is heard when paired with my handphone.

PML asked me to send down my car. But, still dont have the time.

Anyone has solved this problem??
