However, having said this... there are ways and methods to mate the filter to it. One thing to note, if the heat shield is specifically for 6 potters, then it won't fit the Valve.. as for Wilson... *shakes fist* ahahahahahahaha

Yup. Different construction will give you different effects. The ITG provided is considered quiet! Some others like Blitz will give you more growl. I found the Apexi to be the best compromise between sound and performance but you need to shave off a few mm from the intake pipe in order for it to fit your CF tube. I am currently using the Simota. Low end is not good but mid to high end is nice. Ask around, you will be surprised how many types of air filter people are using. That will save you some moola also instead of buying one to experiment. |

Re: Conforti CAI Installed + Questions & Review
So, it will not fit the 318 valve, also there ain't any 318 valve in the States....
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ no wonder when i surf to find a CAI for my 318, i always see the manufacturers like AEM state that their CAI is only for 325 and above. So it's bcos the US do not have 318s. So besides the GruppeM, what other brands are there for E46 318? GruppeM is a bit pricey but I am a CAI fan having used it before in my previous ride. Seniors plse advise. |
