Yes, it charges the ipod while its plugged in. In my car, the connector is in the arm rest. BT function requires coding on the car, we're trying to sort that out now. Is your car with or without idrive? Can you see a phone option on the menu? Quote:
Hi Singapore Brummie, do you have the CDC in the glove box or the dash? Are you looking for just the ipod interface without bluetooth? we've not worked out the installation charges since there might be coding required for the cars, we're still testing. |

Re: IPOD & Bluetooth for BMWs
Most interesting. I wonder if this can be done for the E92s with idrives and say, a logic 7 sound system???
Cheers!

should work once we sort out the coding of the car, basically its connected to the MOST ring of your car. is your CDC in the glovebox, back of the car or in the dash? |

Re: IPOD & Bluetooth for BMWs
I'm interested in this too. Currently driving a 2007 523i. Have an iphone.
Checked with PML on the installation of the BMW iphone car kit, which comes with BT, iphone cradle and connector in the armrest. Region of $3k. Can PM me your price? Also, does this void warranty? |
