The one that I was concerned about is highlighted in RED.

I had 6 blown bulbs in the period of 1 year, that's 1 bulb every 2 mths and it always occurred to my right rear brake lights. So today, when I was out, I decided to turn into PML Alexandra to get another bulb and be on my way.

Once I was there and spoke with the technician, he went over and removed my rear brake light carrier and said that it is a known issue and immediately told me to get a warranty claim on it. He drew out the last piece in stock and replaced my rear brake light carrier.

Drove away within 30mins....

So moral of the story? Know your TSBs to get your warranty claim fast-forwarded.

Cheers!
Sam

Hi Sam,

My 320i headlight bulb on the right side is blown. What is the procedure to get PML to change it ? I know it is not covered under warranty and was informed by Steven from PML parts centre to buy the bulb from them at $24+ . After that I can proceed to ask the customer service people to find a technican to change the bulb for me. No advance booking is required.
Is this how you did it previously ?

Thanks.

That's the best way to do it, but go at off-peak ... late morning or early afternoon ... when CSAs are not so busy. The CSA will not charge you for their effort which can be quite a bit as it is not exactly easy to access the headlight bulb for E90, and also E60.

Whatever it is, dont ask them to do when you send your car in for servicing as they will then have to charge labour which can be on the ridiculous side.
