Why my aircon air is low when i drive for 20min?

When i am driving my 2000 BMW318i for abt 20-25min I am experiencing this....
The aircon air coming out of the vent seem to have this "choked" problem. Cool air is still blowing out but is very very low.

I need to switch to Maximum Fan mode and let it run for a few second and it lasts for a while before the problem comes back..

Has anyone experienced this before?

you might want to get to a shop that can figure it out. It could be a leak in the system, etc... Had problems with my aircon as well and they did a UV check and found a leak from the aircon coil.

I say that it is not a leak. Because there is still SOME cool air coming out. I think the condenser coil is so dirty. If there is a leak, the ECU will STOP the aircon to protect everything.

If not a leak then could be the temperature sensor/resistor?

If you never had the "FINAL STAGE RESISTOR" changed before, and the aircon's cold, then it's probably high time to get it changed. A simple 10-15 minute job, parts + labour under $200 if you do it at any of the workshops recommended.
