Help! How to dry the interior carpet ?

How to dry the carpet in the fastest way?
Today I park in front a kopi shop when the rain came, kopi shop extend their shelter to my car causing heavy flow of rain onto my car engine compartment & water slip into my ECU ! I know is common on E36 but I ignored it thinking for 10mins !
But Engine stalled while travelling on CTE but managed to restart & drive with 2nd/3rd gear to BVO like riding a horse haha ... heng heng dry the ECU everything back to normal but now carpet wet , how to dry it in the fastest way? any recommendation ? any workshop help to dry?

For E36 guys; This problem will not happen with heavy rain, my case due to the heavy water flow gather by the shelter & direct down on my left side bonnet.

Re: How to dry the interior carpet ?

sorry to hear of your problem. suggest you use a very strong hairdryer and hope for hot sun to dry in it the open air. the dampness can really smell

Re: How to dry the interior carpet ?

get several Thirsty Hippo type of dehumidifier or Drying Silica from Camera shops and put in your car after the carpet is relatively dry.

Re: How to dry the interior carpet ?

On the E36, it's becos the water channel got choked.

On the front mud flap area, near the front tyre, try opening the little screw and pry the plastic out a little and run water from the windscreen to get rid of the leaves that is stucked inside.

I tried it last time on my car and for a full 10 minutes, leaves r still coming out
