Group Buy of Walkie Talkies for Sunday Morning Drive 22nd July 2007.

Hi morning drivers,

I am organising a group buy of the Motorola Talkabout T5500 walkie talkies for those going for the morning drive this Sunday.



The price is S$150 for a pair including charger and a pair of headsets.
It is S$120 for a pair with a pair of headsets excluding the charger.
Individual headsets can be bought for S$15 each for those whom had participated in earlier group buys for the walkie talkie.

Take note these are list prices and not taking into group buy discounts which will have to depend on your response

Will, this model only has a 8 km range? Can we go for something with 10 km range, given the same budget?

I have 5 sets of this (see pix below). Technical spec is 20km. One year old. Perfect condition. I use them when I go on holiday with my family. Very convenient.

China brand. But it's one of those better ones, with proper factory and website. They claim to do OEM for branded ones.

Walkie: 5 sets Charger: 4 sets (one missing, but maybe can find. Could be in one of the lugguage bags).
Spare battery: 4 sets (one missing?)
Earpiece: 5 sets.

(I paid about $1500, and that's without calculating shipping. It was hand carried in).
