What do you do to a broken splitter?

Hi all,

Got a pair of carbon fibre replica ACS splitters through a pal from BKK. Was pretty happy for a fews weeks until I run over a curb (parallel park and forgot a curb in front). My right splitter tore into half. Heart broken, I left it as it was for close to 2 months….

The choice was either to remove them completely, patch back the holes on my bumper or get the original ACS splitters (which I should have done in the first place). Then comes a 3rd option by chance…

I saw these really nice dark blue carbon fibre samples at Robson Design and decided to let Tommy have a go at manning the splitter and redo the carbon fibre overlay. The orginal carbon only cover part of the splitters, so I decide to have a proper job done by having the new overlay on all sides, except the mounting edges.

How did it go? I must say the workmanship by Tommy & team is top notch. The finish is very smooth to the touch and the fibre, flawless. The splitters looks 10 times better than the original ones from BKK. And the dark blue carbon fibre looks so much more integrated with my Orient Blue ride. Now I’ll totally satisfied ….

Hi Xavier, PM sent.

It depends on the surface area. Plus mine cost a bit more due to the repair work. The nut needed to be re-installed as it broke off completely. rgds.
