ACS Exhaust System for 630i ??

I'm a 630i driver - made a trip down to PML a couple months ago ...
saw a 645 with full ACS kit ... absolutely wicked !!!

After minutes of admiration, I went into the service center.
Spoke to one of the staff due to some engine oil topping up issues ...
Went on to further enquire about the ACS exhaust system which I was extremely attracted to

A couple of points taken :
1. Need to widen the openings of the back bumper
2. Attach additional bumper kit ... to complete the exhaust package only.

Just made another trip down today .. was directed to the Parts & Accessories counter this time.
Was almost pulling out my wallet BUT the staff at the counter says " ACS exhaust system" only applicable to 645 ?? !!

I'm abit confused here ...

My question is what has the exhaust system got to do with the engine size ??

I appreciate any experts here can educate and advice me on this..............

there should be exhaust for the 630i i think... as for the difference in exhaust..i think it has for different cylinder... like 520,523,530 use same exhaust but 545 uses different one..

i guess the 645 has a v8 while the 630, an inline 6. two different engine configurations and hence different plumping for the exhausts as well.

does the 630i have another aftermarket exhaust system besides ACS?

First of all, thank you all for your precious time ... and of course useful information.

Different plumbing design i guess is quite likely as mentioned by xxterxx & louis ...
And yes i have searched around for different and less but not least more recognised brands, i.e. Breyton, Hartge, Hamann, etc ...

Apparently these tuners have their own versions of exhaust systems but as what you have all mentioned they didn't indicate whether it can be installed into a 630.

Sad to say the stock exhaust system is doesn't comes with the "roar and macho" noises ... that's why I'm seriously doing my homework to groom up my baby ...

What about "horses"?
The ACS exhaust system claims at least 5 horses increment ...

I appreciate if anyone who can contribute more ideas and of course if you already have a tuned up 630, I appreciate (x100) if you can throw me some pictures or tips ...

haha.. u are not easily satisfied, but i think it should be able to get much louder.

hee hee ... not really ...

mine's the non-metallic black version ... looks is pretty fine to me ...
but all i can say is maintenance of the body is making me haywire ...
even tiny specs of dusts can be easily seen all the time ...
was actually eyeing on the stratus grey ... sadly they had no more stock at that time of my purchase.

wow .. i see in your picture yours is the grey version?
the perfect color for singapore road weather and conditions.

so what have you done so far?

The 630i has the new R6 engines, just like E60 and E90s

As this series of engines are very new, the aftermarket guys are still developing them.

There are also very few mods at the moment for these engines.

The 645i uses an older 4.4l engine that's been around for a while in the 545i, 745i etc.
