Help! Exhaust System for 335i

Hi Everyone! Need advice from you guys on which brand to get. The exhaust system i'm looking to change is the part after the mid pipe..

1) I'm looking for quad exhaust with deep bassy tone.

2) I want a loud loud exhaust, but preferably LTA Approved.

3) Dont want to lose low end power if possible.

Please give me the indication of the price and where to get it if you know too.Thank you in advance!

Bro,
  • Quad exhaust with deep bassy tone - think of Remus (Fong Kim)
  • Loud loud exhaust, but preferably LTA Approved - think of SS (Jeep Chee), Eisenmann (approval pending)
  • Dont want to lose low end power if possible - you need not concern if you are not touching the secondary cats. However, I bet you will change your downpipes to catted ones soon......

Re: Exhaust System for 335i

I suspect all the exhaust systems will give drone somewhat - my SS quads droned at low RPMs when first installed, now it is higher RPMs......

I am thinking of switching to Eisenmann to test it out actually........

Re: Exhaust System for 335i

Why would the exhaust with sec cat delete cause you to loose low end?

Mine does not (butt dyno!)

Bro, which brand can offer me loud loud + deep bassy tone + LTA Approved Quad Exhaust ? Or there is no best of 3 worlds?

Cause many forumers complained of the loss in back pressures, but higher flow rate at higher RPMs?

I think you should listen to what we have so far...... I have SS, Hitmee has Hamann, DennisWong has Remus...... As for the other brands like Milltek, Arqray...... cannot disclose who has them. Come listen yourself.

When is your car arriving?

Re: Exhaust System for 335i

TC cars aren't like NA cars where there is a need for backpressure. More free-flowing, the better! Removing secondary cats does make your car quite a bit louder BUT its not bassy louder, but definitely louder. Louder than Miltek too.

Re: Exhaust System for 335i

i reckon you hear the intake more than the exhaust at full noise with TC cars
