Remus also makes exhaust. Why not check out the resource folder?

Re: E46 Exhaust Recommendations.

changing the exhaust muffler is merely for looks and sound.. power gains is negligible..even if theres any.....

approved brands are supersprint,sebring,remus

supersprint can get from jeep chee... the other 2 from fong kim.... supersprint being the most expensive followed by remus and sebring....

non approved brands u can go for eisenmann, hamann , breyton

Re: E46 Exhaust Recommendations.

So u guys are trying to say that its not actually worth it to get supersprint?
i probably wouldnt go for a throaty sound. so that means i shld go for the remus?
so how much is the difference btwn supersprint and remus?
and also bro, since u say mufflers are only for looks and sound...
what should i do to not only have the sound, but also the performance?

the quote was for twin pipes.

Costs more to get the centre pipe + muffler (legal setup).

what should i do to not only have the sound, but also the performance?

Staying legal? Remus should be pretty loud. My friend had an AC Schnitzer (Remus) catback system, its quite loud and boomy.

I don't think you can get alot of performance from an exhaust mod alone, so why not do Remus catback AND an ECU reflash? Sound + Performance and best part is its legal (from what i understand) so LTA can't catch, plus your family won't choke on toxic fumes everytime you drive away.

Personal opinion from one of my car mod crazy friends is that ECU remapping will boost performance more than exhaust mods so he advised me on ECU first if on a budget.
