I Want To Remove My Cats. Can?

Dear All,

Should I Remove My Cats? I am not a very technically sound person. Please Endure.

I have 4 Cats. 2 nearer to the engine, and 2 in the center of the car.

My Car is SLK 350.

Will removing the Cats help with anything? Or should I change to High Flow Cats? Meow Meow?

I Like Loud Noise and hope to improve performance.

Thank you very much in Advance.

Best Regards,
Jon

Re: I Want To Remove My Cats. Can?

Wow, you should have tried the search function on this. Alot of threads abt cats.

Nvm.. when u mean 2 near the engine are they after the headers or no? if they are, take all 4 cats out and replace them with stainless steel tubes, no need to put high flow cats since u like em' loud.

Performance side, should have gains but you're not looking at hell of a lot.

Hope this kinda helps you out aye?.

shaaz.

You learn fast. my young apprentice.

May the force be with you. On 2nd thoughts, you don't need the force. Your car already got a lot of that...
