Never played a semi-solid body before. Wonder how it sounds and feel.

It just feel bulky but sound really sweet..me not use to it also.. can hear the original sound plus that coming out of the amps.. kekekkeek.. maybe must turn up the amp a bit. I go down once a month to the other music shop opposite swee lee (Bras Basah Complex). I've tried quite a bit of the guitars including semi-solid. Bought most of my stuff there except for the ephiphone and ibanez which I got from swee lee...kekekeke. Now they hang a couple fo Fender Strat (country boy) and those evil looking Precision... kuniang... sibey tempting leh...

Great organisation jawsg, especially for the dinner venue. Quiet, windy, with a large crowd (though except us the rest seems a bit quiet).

And I not only get to sit in jawsg's ride, I even drove it! Aiya, so fun, it's a pity the rest missed it lah....anyway, thanks to jawsg for fetching me around that night, and lending me his car to run my urgent errand. It's the Club Sandy spirit of mutual bonding

Wah...I'm not so hard core like you going to shops so often. I just play my guitars alone at home. I wonder if Swee Lee will bring in the epiphone casino for me. Will have to call them to find out.
I like going down to Guitar Connection and Guitar 77 at Penisular and drool over the old Fender strats. I have my guitars and amp repaired at Guitar Connection.

Here's a short field report for benefit of the 9 Club Sandy hiadees who missed us last Friday (where are you all!! )
At 7pm jawsg and myself went to CCK for reccee. Then at 8pm we met up with the rest at West Coast Mcdonald's - jinteck, gweenray, bmw_F1, acupunch and wife, and snoopy/scooby?. We convoy up to CCK season parking carpark and makan our burgers and french fries. Jinteck steadily opened his ground sheet for us to sit. bmw_F1 brought a field chair.
jawsg, jinteck and myself then went to visit a half-digged you-know-what. We took some real good photos later with the rest - a bit dark but it's ok as long as we don't have extra people standing beside us in the photos.
Then we convoy to Club Sandy via CCK 40 tiang --> Neo Tiew Road --> Kranji --> SLE --> TPE --> Loyang. It was a very fast and furious drive
When we reach Club Sandy it was very crowded, I lost count of how many people joined us. But see pics roughly can tell - Dave & family, Bobby, Elmarachi, Kentonna, Terry, iScoupe, johnhiggins, PG7170, Alvis, Nic, etc. Sorry if I missed out anyone.
The night ended up superbly with Sandy twinairbags appearing at 2am, wearing high-slit skirts with red "inside".
