BMW ADT - May 13 2007 Pics and Video

Hi Bros & Sis

Some of us went for the BMW ADT yesterday and would like to share with you the videos and some pics. I didn't take much pictures this round, because my camera was full of videos instead..

PML has increased the course price to $600 (PML Customer) and $800 (Non PML Customer) and this round we were told to meet at Sime Darby instead. The whole process of getting there was pretty smooth , except one guy who was late and we had to wait for about 20 mins before moving off.

While reaching Pasir Gudang circuit, as usual, all the nice and shiny E90 330i were parked nicely next to each other. Firstly go through the theory and proceed to our car and we had No.7. Myself, Nuke and Azrielsc were inside one car and as usual, went through a slow slalom to warm up the car and get used to the 3-9 steering position (I swear i drive better with one hand doing 12hrs movement.... while instructor asked,, how do u find the 3-9 steering position? And Sam actually told the instructor.. i think my old steering position using 2 hands shuffle around is better... haha...)

As usual, we went through UnderSteer, Over Steer, Emergency Brake, Emergency Lane Change Lessons..What do i think about this course? Well, i feel that this course did teach the drivers how to deal with real life emergency situations and when it happens, you will be more prepared and know what your car can do.....hmm... not sure about the rest.... I actually prefered to have more track experiences instead. The part i enjoyed the most was the taxi ride, one word "AWESOME". There only i knew a 330 can be so powerful and yet so stable while doing 200 at straight then brake and corner at 100-110.. and all these was done without DSC on...And i really advise those who r interested to go.. must go with a group of friends.. it will be more fun to have buggers inside the car shouting here and there... "Brake Brake" "Full throttle Full Throttle" "OH NO OH NO"... hahhaa.....Fun!! Real Fun!!

And lastly... the Timed Slalom.... Our dear Nuke and Azrielsc.. actually grabbed the Champion and 1st runner up..UNBELIEVABLE!!!!!! hahaha...

Glad you guys had fun at ADT. Champion and 1st runner-up too.. icing on the cake. Didn't know they included reverse flick in ADT, not there when I went.

ryan.. i am not sure about this.. cos when instructor asked us to go on 50, we went on 60, he asked us to go on 60, we went on 70 and final round on 70, we floored the car.. ... u said leh... hahaha...

I didn't say Bang ah.. I actually said LAI!!! hahaha... fallen cones are to guide u where to brake, turn and etc...

The reverse flick will be included in IDT.. instructor showed us how to do it but refused to teach us how to do it and I got it all down on video.. hehehe...
