Re: Local makan outing

There's a very carpark at the kallang terminal there, just oppo kallang MRT,easily can park 30 cars, from there we can just walk down geylang road, alot of good food, but personally I vote for steamboat lah,for $15 bucks, free flow of food and drinks, cheap and good.

Anyone still takes MRT (since this is a car forum), at Aljunied station, there is a car park just right beside the coffee shop.

I have no idea what type of food they serving, but what i can see when i go out on Saturday night without my car, "if you drink, dont drive", alot of families eating at the zhi char stall.

- Geylang in-Famous Beef Char Kuay Teow (Lorong 9)
- Famous hot and sexy boss's daughter Soya Bean + Yu Tiao stall ( Lorong 9)
- Dim Sum, Wan Toh Seh (Lorong 15)
- Dim Sum, Mongolian Dim Sum (Lorong EIGHT, not sunglass )
- Mixed Pig Organ aka Mr Piggy Merc E-Class (Lorong 19)
- Porriage (almost everywhere..., personal fav. Lor 9 )
- Durians all along Sims Ave Lorong 7 - Lorong 19)

If we looking for a makan spot, i guess the most important point in CAR PARK.
dude, to be honest, geylang kinda difficult.. very, very packed. i know there are lotsa nice places to eat there, but from experience, difficult la..
